The California State Athletic Commission released the results of the drug test violations for boxing, MMA and kickboxing for the past six months.

Which sport had the most violations?

MMA smoked the competition. It wasn’t even close.

The CSAC tested 36 MMA events and found 33 drug violations. The commission tested 56 boxing events and found eight drug violations. The CSAC tested eight kickboxing events and found two drug violations.

The No. 1 drug that received the most violations among boxers, mixed martial artists and kickboxers was … marijuana. There were 24 fighters that tested positive for marijuana.
