'Sho Sports Presents' premieres tonite at 10 on Showtime 2

It's time for MMA and boxing fans to get Showtime or upgrade your Showtime subscription to include Showtime 2.
Showtime started televising MMA in February and has been showcasing some of the best boxing fights in recent years.
Now, Showtime is rolling out "Sho Sports Presents," a nightly series featuring the best of Showtime boxing and MMA to air every weeknight at 10 on Showtime 2, beginning with the premiere tonight at 10.
"Sho Sports Presents" will air replays of "Showtime Championship Boxing," "EliteXC," "ShoBox: The New Generation," and "ShoXC: Elite Challenger Series."
"Thrilling boxing events and explosive mixed martial arts telecasts from Showtime Sports have been a consistent ratings generator for the network," Ken Hershman, senior vice-president and general manager of sports and event programming for Showtime Sports, said in a statement.
"We have been dedicated to televising the hardest hitting and most compelling matchups in both boxing and MMA on a regular basis. 'Sho Sports Presents' is further proof of our commitment to deliver a steady diet of great programming to fight fans."
In addition to opening the doors of the vast boxing library that dates back to the premiere of "Showtime Championship Boxing" in 1986, "Sho Sports Presents" will keep fans upt o date with promotions, documentaries and updates of upcoming live events.
"Our subscribers have demonstrated a demand for our sports franchises and this daily platform is an ideal way to keep them in tune with our greatest hits of yesterday and with upcoming live events," Hershman said.
The first installment of "Sho Sports Presents" tonight at 10 features the 2003 bout between Rocky Juarez and Jason Pires.
