I got a chance to visit Fernando “El Feroz” Vargas and Ricardo “El Matador” Mayorga’s training camps last week as they put the finishing touches on their preperation for Friday night’s pay-per-view fight at Staples Center.
Vargas appeared to be in solid shape and was eager to get in the ring with Mayorga and end his career with a bang. Mayorga was as cocky and confident as ever.
