Edison Miranda vs. David Banks

When: Friday, 6 p.m.

Where: Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, Hollywood, Fla.

TV: ESPN2

Outlook: Banks (15-3-1, 2 KOs), who was on the third season of “The Contender,” has lost two of his past three fights heading into his fight against the heavy-handed Miranda (29-2, 25 KOs).

Prediction: Banks doesn’t have the punching power to keep the aggressive Miranda off him. Miranda will be too much for Banks and overwhelm him for a stoppage victory.

Record in 2008 picks: 1-0
